The hotel is well off the road, in a very rural setting. Apart from the friendly dogs, we saw peacocks, colour ful lizards and lots of birds. The villas are self contained, spacious wit a large comfortable bed and an outdoor bathroom. The meals were excellent and the staff very helpful and keen to please. We could see the villas from the summit of Sigiriya and it was a good place from which to explore the old capitals.
